Tim Hoerr, CEO of Serra Ventures, will be a judge in the upcoming event “Project Innovation II.” This will be the second installment of “Project Innovation” which took place last year, and will be held on May 12, in Springfield, IL.
“Project Innovation II” is a business plan competition which is open to all industries, including manufacturing, agriculture, information technology and medical innovations. The competition has two categories: Acceleration and Innovation. The “Innovation Category” is for entrepreneurs who are still in the planning phases of their innovation and require assistance to take their ideas the next level.
Mikal Sutton-Vereen, Director of Medical Development at The Chamber, explained that “Our priority is to encourage new business growth in Sangamon County and to support entrepreneurs and pioneering companies with innovative ideas that have the potential to generate real economic growth for our community.”
